Research:

  • Nanosized (d < 30 nm) colloidal particles: Development and application of methods and equipment for nanoparticle size distributions.
  • Individual submicrometer aerosol particles: Development of mass spectrometers.
  • Particle formation in biomass combustion.
  • Processes related to alkali metals in the conversion of biomass in energy production.
  • Climate and health effects related to particle emissions from combustion.
  • Early-warning real-time detection of particle-bound radioisotopes of relevance to nuclear power incidents.
  • Teaching:
