Research interests

Research interests include urban air quality studies by participating field measurement campaigns, Milagro 2006 (Mexico City, Mexico) and Mini-Göte 2006 (Göteborg, Sweden) for aerosol characterization with on/off line instrumentations: Aerosol Mass Spectrometer (AMS), Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer (SMPS), Aerosol Particle Spectrometer (APS), impactor system, and subsequent analyses by Ion Chromatography (IC) and Electron Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence spectrometer (EDXRF). Also, interested in chemical processes associated with secondary organic aerosol formation via OH radicals initiated oxidation of aromatic compounds such as benzene, toluene, xylene, and other alkylbenzenes under different NOx conditions.
